Sales Development Representative

About the Sales Development Representative Position:

RetailSphere is looking for energetic self-starters who want to jump start their sales career in a fast-paced tech startup. You’ll help develop our sales pipeline by prospecting and qualifying new opportunities. You live for the thrill of the hunt and are excited by the possibility of getting as many "ups" or "at-bats" per day as you can.  You do not have call aversion.

You are money motivated and excited to grow in a career that offers exceptional compensation to those who know what they are doing.

The ideal candidate can quickly create rapport with prospects over the phone, is excited to learn basic selling skills such as pre-framing, looping, basic objection/rebuttal techniques, and, most importantly, the creation of trust and rapport with prospects.

You know how to connect with people and understand you are there to help them solve a problem.  You have been told throughout your life you have good people skills.  Generally speaking, other people have always enjoyed your company.

Our company is just entering the scaling phase of its growth.  We have multiple lighthouse accounts signed w/ some of the biggest most important names in our industry.  Our product is proven to add an extraordinary amount of value to clients who use it well.  You will have the opportunity to reference well-known names in the retail commercial real estate industry to get deals in the door.

Furthermore, most of your territories will be greenfield.

 What you’ll do:

  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation through outbound calling
  • Build an effective pipeline and schedule demos for Account Executives.
  • Navigate company structures to identify decision makers, get past gatekeepers and overcome prospect objections.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information w/in the Retailsphere platform
  • Consistently meet or exceed outbound call requirements for calls, conversations and demos set
  • Grow in your sales career for a quick promotion to Account Executive

 

Qualifications:

  • Be highly money-motivated and eager to grow in your sales career
  • Excellent people skills, including the ability to quickly create rapport and trust with others
  • Process oriented to maximize results
  • Results driven and a desire to win is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years' of relevant work experience (outbound calling, apt setting, etc..) but not required.
